Sony Startup Assistant continues to popup even after its been uninstalled. What do i do to disable it?

I have uninstalled Sony Vaio Startup Assistant from my laptop and even unchecked the box at the bottom of the application that says "run at startup" and yet it still comes up everytime i turn on my computer. I cannot get it to go away. Can someone please help me.|||press start and run type in msconfig go to start up and click disable all and enable the av software
