What is the normal life span of a sony vio desktop computer? Have one with a max of 1 gb (1024 mb) and its been used for five years but owned for six or so. How long do desktop pcs normally last before they come unusable?|||they relativley last for like 10 yrs or so if they dont handle major projects. if its just like internet browsing and worksheets they dont have much demand in performance. but tecnology is outdated constantly. and heres the thing most software nowadays like video editing, photo editing, games and some office software are much more demanding so require new sysems.
p.s. next time dont buy a sony computer. they make awesome products but not desktops nor laptops. buy HP or a Mac.|||it should last atleast 6 yrs. 10 years is a little long (without any upgrades) but next time dont buy a branded computer either build your own or pay someone to build your own because you can pick your own parts so basicly you choose the quality level that goes into that pc instead of getting the cheapest stuff that sony,hp,gateway,acer,dell ect. could put in it to still make it sound appealing
