Going to buy a camera on Friday, wondering if I should go for a Nikon or a Sony? Anyone wanna leave me some feedback?|||would you rather buy a camera brand that also specializes in making tv's, gaming consoles, phones etc? or buy a camera brand that is focused on making cameras?
haha, cut all that BS. Honestly. Both brands are good in their own respects. I'm just saying that nikon is a more "known" brand in the camera market. But don't let that influence your choice. Just get whatever feels the best in your hands and takes the best pictures from your experience. Go into the store and ask to try both cameras.
Nowadays, cameras have been developed so well that it doesn't honestly matter which brand you choose. However, you get what you pay for. So invest in a higher quality camera :)
Cheers!|||I would go with Nikon, the D3100 or D5100 ar both very good cameras. also if you ever take your photography seriously you will have Nikon lenses and can always keep going, where as sony don't have as many, nor as good quality lenses. Good luck with your final decision.|||Nikon.
But Sony has some nice models. They bought Minolta, so that's where there expertise for cameras comes from.
Unless you're a professional photographer, you could be satisfied with either, depending on what you're looking for and what your needs are.|||Nikon|||i'd say nikon since they specialize in cameras
