What differance between Sony with good lens and Canon with good lens?

I am planning to do more Professional photography. Basically I want to do Portrait and studio shoots. I currently have a Sony Alpha 350. If I use the Sony with good lenses for what I want to do (like the 50mm1.4 and 2.8 zoom) would my photos be good quality (good enough to pay for taking in account that they will be good shots). What would Canon?|||The brand doesn't matter. The high end Sony lenses are every bit as nice as those from Canon or Nikon. And Sony makes the sensors for Nikon cameras so the cameras are also just as nice. I use a Sony and I don't worry about the brand on my camera. As long as it gets the job done it works for me. And remember that there are just as many, if not more, cheap Canon and Nikon lenses out there.

If you like the live view in your camera you will be disappointed in Canon or Nikon. Sony live view is unique.|||The quality of the photos have all to do with your technique, NOT the camera

I have colleagues who use Nikon's, Canon's and Sony's. Unless you actually looked at the EXIF data on the image file or knew what system they used, you would NOT be able to tell which camera shot the photo.

If you really, really want to use the body with the best sensor and buy better lenses as you can afford them, look here.

This link lists the quality and performance of each cameras sensors from number one to around one hundred and forty.

As you will see, you left out Nikon which leads the pack and makes some of the best lenses on the planet. Look at the AF-S, ED, Nano lenses.|||If you have a good enough lens, then yes, but it all depends on what Canon you want to compare it against.

From experience on tests, [now stand by for thumbs down from all the expert (?) Canon folk] the entry level Canons are way overrated and are NOT as good as they say they are.|||some people rave about canon and nikon because they have no real idea...

i use a Sony A200 and am more than happy with the results... i use a mixture of lenses (Sony, Tamron, Sigma and Minolta) and have found that technique works better...

If you want to grow in that you may find the options limited, expensive or non-existent.|||The difference between a Sony with a good lens and a Canon with a good lens is that a Canon doesn't need an adapter to mount one...|||The little cutems badge.
