How do I unlock a sony ericcson mobile phone?

I have recently bought a second hand sony ericsson C950. When I turn the phone on it says to enter phone lock code. Does anyone know where or how I can get this code. For unlocking the Sony Ericsson phones, you will find some paid and free unlock software downloaded which you can find from the internet otherwise you will have to retrieve and supply the IMEI number of your Sony Ericsson phone.
