I've got a sony ericsson w850i and one bluetooth radio connected into my pc and I'm trying to use my phone as a remote control on my computer but I can't... Can anyone shine light into my situation?|||from what i understand your phone is already able to connect through bluetooth to your pc, but the remote control doesn't work
in order for the remote control to work, your computer must have enabled the "Human interface device" service for bluetooth, i'm guessing this is the problem
look for "Human interface device" in your Device Manager (if you're using windows) and in your bluetooth configuration. this is all you need to have on your computer for the remote control to work.
you need to enable this Human Interface Device, you can look for ways to enable it by checking your Bluetooth configuration or you can try reinstalling your Bluetooth on your computer and see if it asks you about this

Are memory sticks a good reason not to buy a Sony digital camera?
I've heard Sony memory sticks cost a lot more than SDHC cards, but don't provide any advantages other than being compatible with Sony cameras. Should people buy other brands of cameras than Sony to avoid having to buy expensive memory sticks?|||Yes, it's why I instantly rule out Sony cameras.
SD / SDHC cards that you buy will work in so many cameras that I only look for SD cameras. Cameras do not last very long, but SD cards last for many years. You can also use SD cards more readily in PC's. Sony should ditch the Memory Stick and start using SD.
If you buy a Sony camera and 2 or 3 Memory sticks, then replace the camera - you're forced to buy another Sony (if you want to use your existing memory cards). If you don't want to be forced to stick with Sony, I'd encourage another camera maker.|||If you already have a collection of SD cards, then that would be reason.
If you don't, you have to buy cards anyway. MS cards are more expensive, but not terribly much so. If the camera has the features you want, then get the Sony and 1 fairly large MS card to go with it.|||Yes. It's not like Sony cameras are so much better (they aren't) that it's worth locking yourself in to a proprietary flash memory system that is incompatible with anything else.|||MemorySticks are more expensive than cheap SDHC cards, but if you move on to the high speed, brand name cards then that price differential becomes far less.
If the camera you want uses a proprietary format I'd still have no problem buying that camera, it's the camera that matters!
Currently Using: Sony A700 with memory stick ProDuo and Compact Flash, Sony DSC-WX1 with MemoryStick ProDuo, Canon PowerShot G11 with SDHC. And if the worst comes to the worst a little card reader from Walmart-ASDA for 拢4.99.

How do you make everything except one color black and white in Sony Vegas Pro 9?
Well basically I've seen videos on youtube where everything is in black and white except for (for instance) the red objects in the shot. I have Sony Vegas Pro 9, does anyone know how to create this effect using this software?|||Ok, so you drag the picture/video to the the track. Then duplicate the track. Then you wanna mask (ok, right click %26gt; pan/crop %26gt; Mask %26gt; top penish thing %26gt; click aroung that you want colored) what you want one color (on the top track). Then you are gunna wanna go to Video FX and then what ever color effects you want on the top track (drag it to the TOP track) and then go to black and white....and drag it to the bottom track. %26amp; you're done :)

What is a good Sony camera to take snowboarding photos?
I have an old DSC-P71 and it took amazing shots of my friends out snowboarding. I started to get megapixel envy and upgraded to a Canon S70 but all the photos came out blurred. I sold that and bought a Sony DSC-P100 but that also took very blurry photos. So I went back to my old 3 megapixel friend. Now, the view finder has broken, and I need to get another digital camera.
It has to be Sony, as I have 2x 4gb memory stick pro duos, and I don't want to buy additional memory.
It has to take great action shots out of the box, and be small. I don't want to have to make a million adjustments, just switch it on and take amazing photos of my friends taking jumps and such.
Any advice on the N2, W100, W7 or older Sony digital cameras from snowboarders or skiers is much appreciated.|||the best sony camera to take snowboarding is the Pentax W30. (sorry) since it's water proof.
If you are blaming all those blurry shots that you're getting on the camera- perhaps you should look what's standing behind the camera.
Great action shots are a tall order for a point and shoot, especially with a user that doesn't want to fiddle with settings. You can do it, but you really need to know how to pre-focus, how to make sure the ISO and shutter speed are high enough, and to correct for bright snow conditions.
The N2 is cool, but with it's touch screen- it may be hard to operate with gloves.
I'd go with the W series. At least it has a little optical viewfinder for when you can't see the display in bright sunlight.|||A great site to compare features is

Select memory type 'memory stick' and you'll get cameras compatible with your memory.
Don't get hung up on megapixels, anything over 6 mp in a compact camera doesn't help the picture.

How do you make a heart transition on Sony vegas 8?
I've seen AMV using sony vegas and they would always have this one transition with a heart. I've tried to find it on sony vegas but can't. Do you have to make it or something? Thanks!|||You're most likely referring to spicemaster.
Its an add-on for vegas provided by Pixelan Software
This would be if it were all white or bordered and pops out, kind of like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBE4GQJVf鈥?/a>
OR
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLtRLMkPr鈥?/a>
Otherwise, it would be a simple effect that kind of looks just like movie maker and isn't used as often from what i've seen, and that would be another extra add-on form vegas 9.
But it's most likely spicemaster :D Hope that helps

I have recently bought a second hand sony ericsson C950. When I turn the phone on it says to enter phone lock code. Does anyone know where or how I can get this code.
